About Christopher R. Ulrich
Christopher R. Ulrich (Cru) has tried more than thirty jury trials to verdict and handled hundreds of evidentiary hearings, administrative hearings, bench trials, and appellate matters. He primarily represents elders and families, judicial officers, attorneys and licensed professionals, care operators, and crime victims.
He started his career as a prosecutor in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office from 2010 to 2019, spending much of that time in the Gang Violence Unit prosecuting serious and violent felonies. From 2019 to 2026, he practiced at Murphy Pearson Bradley & Feeney LLP, trying cases in diverse forums and defending judges, attorneys, licensed professionals, and public officials in discipline and professional-liability matters. He also represented several RCFE operators facing overlapping regulatory and criminal exposure. Rooted in his enduring committment to victims of injustice, he also dedicated a portion of his practice to elder abuse claims and estate litigation.
His current practice carries forward the principle that has guided his career: people who have upheld their end deserve justice when they have been unfairly treated, wrongfully accused, or denied what is rightfully theirs.
